Luxembourg motorists and households will see a drop in fuel prices starting at midnight on Wednesday, November 4. The decrease in prices comes as a financial relief to those relying on petrol, diesel, and heating fuel. The cost of EuroSuper 95 petrol will fall by 8.1 cents, bringing the new price to €1.678 per litre. SuperPlus 98 petrol will see a reduction of 6.4 cents, now priced at €1.835 per litre.
Diesel prices will decline by approximately 7.1 cents, setting the new price at €2.039 per litre. Additionally, heating fuel will become 7.2 cents cheaper, costing €1.529 per litre. These changes are expected to ease the financial burden on residents who depend heavily on these fuels for transportation and heating purposes.
The updated pricing, effective November 4, includes not only petrol and diesel but also other fuels. LPG will cost €0.972 per litre, while residential propane will be priced at €0.953 per litre. Bottled propane and butane will be available at €2.459 and €2.262 per kilogram, respectively.
The reductions are part of a broader effort to alleviate costs for consumers amid fluctuating fuel markets. This initiative aims to provide some economic relief, particularly for those who use fuel as a primary energy source for their daily needs.
